The 2024 GoPro competition will centre around the surfer’s ability to get the best point-of-view (POV) video, during this three month challenge (May 16 - Aug 16).
After the epic swell that graced Kirra, many incredible clips arose that were shot from the surfer’s perspective, demonstrating the sheer scope of what Queensland surfers are capable of.
We are inspired by what our surfers were able to capture, right in the midst of the action and we want to see more!
Challenge brief
The challenge is simple...
surfers will have three months to submit their best GoPro POV clips, with the TOP 6 entries winning a GoPro Hero12 Black and the best video also receiving $1000!
Rules
- Entries MUST tag @surfing_Queensland and @goproanz
- Entries MUST feature the hashtag, #SQGoProPOV
- Clips MUST be shot in Queensland
- Clips MUST be filmed between the start and end date of the challenge (May 16 - aug 16, 2024)
- Clips MUST be shot on a GoPro camera
- Clips MUST be 30-seconds or less
- Clips MUST be filmed from POV, eg. holding, board-mount, chest-mount, head-mount or mouth-mount
- Clips MUST be your own
- Editing is allowed, feel free to colour-grade, add your own music, slow it down, speed it up, or combine clips together
